Using Information Collection Program



There are many programs can help to collect, sort and organize information, such as Excel, Sage, Quickbooks and so on.  All of them have different functions to collect information.

It is efficient to use proper information program.  

For a business, people would like to collect transaction information. They might use Transaction Processing System(TPS) to collect transaction information, such as transaction items, transaction date, transaction location etc. After collecting those information, managers can do some analysis by using that information; and they can make some decisions to help improve sales, service etc.  


For a HR department in a company, people might need to collect employees’ information, such as data of birth, home address, wage rate etc.  To do so, the HR department can use Employee Management System.  With the program, not only can the HR department collect basic personal information for employees but also they can use this program to improve employees.  If HR manager needs to train current employees, he can use the program to find employees’ previous achievement and make a plan to train the employees.

For a
n Accounting department, accountants should finish day-to day journal entries.  QuickBooks is very useful to help with the task.  When accountants collect the daily transaction receipts, they will book those data by using QuickBooks.  When time comes to prepare the financial statements, there is a report function on the program, accountants can finish preparing the financial statements by using that function, which will increase the efficient and save time for the work.

As we can see, to use the proper programs will reduce your work.  Also, the right programs will help you to collect effective and efficient information.
